My name is Moses Otieno Oduor and I am 25 years old. I was born inKisumu,Kenya and that makes me Kenyan. I would like to say that I am a mover / dancer / maker / teacher / director / choreographer but I have learnt that on top of all the training I would give or get the experiences of all these things make me an artist. I love expressions, to share, to experience – it can only build.
I am one of Kenya Performing Arts Group many roots and branches and we are working inNairobi at the Kenya National Theatre. The days are fun though sometimes challenging and we do movement, acting, jazz, ballet, costume, sound, light, teaching and performances. Currently, we are touring theNetherlands showing our works, meeting and interacting with people. One of the performances we are showing is De Kameleon, a unique piece of art on the strength of our differences, adaptation and compromise as friends, family or colleagues. The costume is really beautiful and it complements the whole performance beautifully. I am sure a lot of people (young people as well) can get to see our performances so we can meet and share.
